views of the Olympic Mountains, the Puget Sound shipping lanes and the
ferry to Port Townsend. You can walk or bike to nearby Fort Casey
State Park, the Keystone Ferry and Crockett Lake, a natural bird sanctuary.
See an awesome number of birds including bald eagles, herons, loons, hawks
and more and whale-watch (in season).
Fish for salmon
from the private beach or enjoy the nearby swimming pool (in season). Take
the ferry to Port Townsend or stroll historic Coupeville, just a few miles
away where you'll find an abundance of fine restaurants, antique shops,
art galleries, seasonal craft fairs and farmers market. Take a short drive
north and hike/walk at Fort Ebey State Park, the beach at Ebey’s Landing,
or Deception Pass State Park or go south and enjoy wine tasting, shops
and a Sunday farmers market at the Greenbank Farm then on to the lovely
seaside town of Langley with much more to offer.
